Ntakye farm compound in Busoke Village

We farm over forty acres in Busoke Village, Mukono District — banana plantations alongside coffee fields, rabbit production facilities beside feed processing plants, and organic fertilizer infrastructure that turns every by-product into an input. Ntakye Holdings was established in 2015, and what began as an enterprise in urban planning technology has evolved into a diversified agribusiness that connects crop production, micro-livestock, and organic soil science into a single circular operation.

Our approach is integration. Rabbit manure and urine feed the fertilizer line. The fertilizer goes onto the coffee and banana fields. Coffee husks cycle back into the soil. Nothing leaves without adding value first — and every unit on the farm exists because another unit needs it. We have worked with SNV, KCIC, USADF, UNDP, and the Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator, and our team operates from the same land where the inputs are made and the crops are grown.
