We believe clean energy belongs where the work happens — on the farm, in the milking parlour, across the coffee field. Our PURE unit pilots solar-powered agricultural equipment in partnership with development organisations, testing whether renewable energy can meaningfully reduce labour costs, improve product quality, and modernise smallholder workflows in rural Uganda.
In partnership with SNV Netherlands under the SEFFA project, we piloted solar-powered milking machines across dairy farms in Central and Southwestern Uganda — exploring efficiency gains, lighting improvements, and labour continuity for smallholder dairy operations. Working with the Kenya Climate Innovation Centre, we piloted solar-powered knapsack sprayers for cattle tick management and coffee agronomic care, distributing units across Buikwe, Ibanda, and Mukono districts. Each project starts with the same question — what do farmers actually need — and the answer shapes the technology we bring in.
