Additionally, women farmers produce 20-30% less than their male counterparts, contributing to a significant gender disparity in agricultural productivity. Women produce over half the food worldwide, so bridging this gap could reduce global hunger by as much as 17%. Ntakye employs approximately 11 women for part-time work in both the livestock and crop units of our enterprise. Our previous efforts since early 2021 have seen Ntakye provide free training to nearly three hundred potential out growers, predominantly women participants.
